(Assajada) 32 : 7
الَّذِي أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقَهُ ۖ وَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ الْإِنْسَانِ مِنْ طِينٍ
The one who created everything in the best form; and He began the creation of mankind from the clay.
The Creator Lord made Adam’s body from “sounding,” “adhesive,” and “foul-smelling” black clay, like a potter shaping a pot, as mentioned in verses 15: 26 and 55: 14. Then the ‘Rooh’—Spirit (Life + soul) of the Creator—was blown into the body, as mentioned in verses 15: 29 and 38: 72. Then Eve (Hawwa), Adam’s mate, was created from Adam’s soul by a word “Be” from the Lord. It is mentioned in verse 4: 1 that from “her” (Adam’s soul), “her” mate was created. In the Lord’s Book Adhikr, the soul of both males and females and the body of women are referred to as the feminine gender, whereas the body of men is referred to as the masculine gender.
